Patanjali has decided to invest in the construction of five professional colleges; Engineering College, Para Medical and Nursing College, Ayurvedic College, Management College and National Institute of Fashion Technology in Punglwa, Peren District, Nagaland.
Nagaland Chief Minister TR Zeliang, laid the foundation stone of the five professional colleges on Sunday amidst dignitaries like Kuzholuzo Nienu, Home Minister, Nagaland, Swami Ramdev Maharaj Patanjali Yogpeeth, Acharya Bal Krishnaji Maharaj Patanjali Yogpeeth and N Thomas Lotha Advisor HTE Nagaland. Punglwa villagers also performed a folk dance at the ceremony.

TR Zeliang stated that the initiative of Nagaland government to provide land for Patanjali to invest has the potential of being a model public-private-partnership and centre’s of excellence not only in Nagaland but the entire Northeast.
Addressing the crowd at the ceremony, Swami Ramdev stated that his mission is to see all India as a nation of healthy, scientific and secular country. He added that Patanjali supports self-sustainability and non-profit. He impressed that God is one and therefore our philosophy should be to bring out a good human being from fellow human being.
