A woman entrepreneur from the Nagaland Jesmina Zeliang, has been nominated as the president of the reception committee of the IHGF-Delhi Fair Autumn 2018.
This is the first time someone from the region was nominated for the post.

Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, congratulated her on his Twitter handle on this nomination.
The 46th edition of the fair is scheduled to be held at the India Expo Centre and Mart, Greater Noida, NCR Delhi, from October 14-18.
Around 3,000 exhibitors, including 900 permanent marts drawn from all over India, will exhibit home, lifestyle, fashion and textile products spread over 15 halls at the event.

Zeliang, owns the company, Heirloom Naga in Nagaland which exports cane, bamboo and artisanal handcrafted textiles from the North East since 1993. The company has participated in various International fairs/exhibitions and also bringing artisans and craft persons to display their exquisite cane and bamboo products during both editions of IHGF-Delhi Fair.
She is actively engaged in empowering women from marginal communities and tribes in northeast.
Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH) is a nodal agency for promotion of exports of handicrafts from the country to various countries and has been organizing the IHGF-Delhi Fair for the last 24 years. IHGF-Delhi Fair Autumn is expected to generate large amount of enquiries and orders, it said.
