Security forces and police have apprehended a cadre of Nikki Sumi group of NSCN (K) at Ghaspani in Nagaland’s Dimapur district, a defence release said today.
Based on a specific input, a joint operation was launched in the area and the cadre was apprehended. One .22 pistol was recovered from him, said a statement.

The cadre along with the recovered arms was handed over to Medziphema police.
In another incident, security forces in a joint operation with police apprehended one cadre and one overground worker of DNLA in Super Market here on August 3, another defence release said today.
One gram of Sunflower drug was recovered from them.
