A highlight of the tour was their attendance at the “Dynamic Yunnan” dance musical, a showcase of the region’s cultural diversity.

The delegation’s visit is part of a series of cultural exchanges initiated by the Consulate General of China in Kolkata.

Earlier this year, Indian Buddhist monks and a group of artists and scholars also visited Yunnan as part of the China-South Asia Cooperation Forum.

This cultural exchange underscores the growing collaboration between Northeast India and Yunnan Province, fostering mutual understanding and appreciation for music and arts across borders.
