Nagaland on Saturday recorded 252 new Covid19 positive cases, taking the state’s active cases tally to 4,840, state health and family welfare minister S Pangnyu Phom tweeted.
He said of the new cases, Dimapur reported 137, Kohima 50, Mokokchung 17, Zunheboto 15, Phek 11, Tuensang eight, Wokha six, Mon and Kiphire three each and Peren & Longleng reported one new case each.
Phom said 214 Covid19 positive people recovered on the day.
Of the 214 Covid19 positive cases, 135 are from Dimapur, 27 from Tuensang, 19 Kohima, Mon 14, Phek 7, Wokha 5, Longleng 3, Zunheboto 2 while one each cases is from Kiphire and Peren.

Meanwhile, Nagaland received 150 oxygen concentrators from the World Health Organisation on Saturday.
“Grateful for the contribution and assistance during this difficult times,” state health minister Phom said in another tweet.
Minister Phom expressed happiness on receiving the oxygen concentrators.
“We are extremely delighted to have received 150 Oxygen Concentrator from World Health Organization today,” he tweeted.
He said the oxygen concentrators will be distributed to all the districts of the State and strategic health care centres on need basis.
“It’s extraordinary time and we are doing all we can in this difficult time,” Phom added.
The State also received the first batch of oxygen cylinders (400 jumbo and 800 B-type) yesterday. The cylinders were airlifted along with the trucks by IAF aircraft.
Nagaland chief minister Neiphiu Rio expressed gratitude to Union defence minister Rajnath Sing and the IAF for airlifting the oxygen cylinders.
