Nagaland has registered 61 new Covid19 positive cases on Tuesday, taking the state’s tally to 11,479.
Confirming the news, Nagaland health minister S Pangnyu Phom in his latest tweet on the state’s Covid19 status on Tuesday said: “Update! 61 +ve cases of # COVID-19 have detected today.”

Of the new cases, the health minister informed, the Kohima district has reported 35 cases, Dimapur 22 while Wokha and Zunheboto districts have reported 2 cases each.
Meanwhile, 8 more patients have recovered from the disease, the health minister informed.
While 5 more patients have recovered from the Kohima district, 3 other patients have recovered from the Peren district.

So far, a total of 10,666 patients have recovered from the disease.
Nagaland currently has 628 active Covid19 cases.
According to the latest bulletin on Covid19, released by the Nagaland health department on Tuesday, a total of 60 patients have died of Covid19 infections in Nagaland so far.
A total of 115 Covid19 positive patients have migrated from the state.
On Monday, Nagaland registered 39 new Covid19 cases and 5 other patients recovered from Kohima.
