Nagaland has registered 276 new COVID19 positive cases, taking the state’s total tally to 2,405
Confirming the detection of new positive cases, Nagaland health minister S Pangnyu Phom in a tweet on Tuesday said the new positive cases have been confirmed out of 735 samples tested for COVID19.

“COVID-19 Update! 276 new +ve cases have been confirmed out of 735 samples tested,” health minister Phom tweeted.
While 187 infected patients have been reported from Dimapur district, 89 other patients have been reported from Mon district.
The health minister also said: “Necessary contact tracing have been activated and all primary contacts are under self-isolation.”

According to the data shared by the COVID19 war room, Nagaland, the number of total positive cases registered in the state so far stands at 2,405.
Nagaland currently has 1,740 active COVID19 cases.
Earlier, a total of 657 patients, who were earlier infected by COVID19, have been discharged from various hospitals or Covid Care Centres after they tested negative for the virus.
The deadly virus has so far claimed the lives of 4 positive patients in Nagaland.
