Nagaland has registered 130 new COVID19 positive cases on Wednesday, taking the state’s overall tally to 4,375.
Confirming the news, Nagaland health minister S Pangnyu Phom in his latest tweet on the state’s COVID19 status on Wednesday said the new cases have been detected out of 710 tests.
“Update! State reports 130 +ve cases of COVID-19 out of 710 results received,” health minister Phom tweeted.
The new cases have been reported from Kohima, Dimapur, Mon and Mokokchung districts.
The health minister informed that of the new cases, 64 cases have been detected in Kohima, 63 have been detected in Dimapur, 2 cases in Mon and 1 case has been reported from Mokokchung district.
“Contact tracing has been fully activated by our IDSP Team,” the health minister said.
The state registered 4,245 positive cases on Tuesday.
The deadly disease has so far claimed the lives of 8 positive patients.
