Nagaland records five new COVID-19 cases; total mounts to 112

Nagaland registered five new COVID-19 positive cases during the 24 hours.

These new cases were among 318 samples tested on Saturday.

All the cases are from Dimapur.

This was informed by state health minister S Pangnyu Phom through his official Twitter handle on Sunday.

Phom tweeted:

‘5 new positive cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the last 24 hours out of 318 samples tested. All cases are from Dimapur.

Positive.     : 112

Active.        : 104

Recovered : 08

Death          : 00

Update at 9:15 am, 7th June, 2020.’

As of Sunday, Nagaland has 112 positive cases.

Among them 104 are active cases.

Notably, eight persons infected with coronavirus in the State have already recovered.

The State has not witnessed any death from COVID-19 so far.
