There were four Covid19 deaths while 47 new positive cases were detected in Nagaland on Thursday.
A total of 66 people recovered from the infection in the last 24 hours.
Two patients died in Dimapur and one each in Kohima and Mokokchung.
According to the Health and Family Welfare Department, Dimapur reported 17 fresh cases, Kohima 9, Longleng 1, Mokokchung 10, Mon 1, Phek 6, Wokha 2 and Zunheboto 1.
Of the 66 recoveries, Dimapur registered 11, Kohima 26, Mokokchung 20, Mon 5, Peren 1 and Phek 3.
The total caseload in the state stands at 30,204 and the active cases at 778.
So far, a total of 610 people have died of the infection while 27,904 have recovered from it.
Altogether 898 people migrated from the state.
Meanwhile, India on Thursday witnessed a sharp surge in daily Covid19 cases and deaths.
According to the Union health ministry, India registered 47,092 new Covid19 cases, the biggest single-day rise in two months, and 509 deaths in 24 hours.
On Wednesday, the country reported 41,965 new positive cases and 460 deaths.
With this, India’s total Covid19 caseload has surged to 3,28,57,937 and 4,39,529 deaths.
Currently, there are a total of 3,89,583 active cases in India.
