Nagaland registered 17 new COVID-19 positive cases on Friday.

These new cases are among the 67 samples tested on Thursday in Dibrugarh.

All the 17 patients are from Dimapur quarantine centre.

This was informed by state health minister S Pangnyu Phom through his official Twitter handle on Friday morning.

Phom wrote:

‘17 new cases of COVID-19 +ve have been reported out of 67 samples tested at Dibrugarh. All patients are from Dimapur QC.

Positive       : 147

Active          : 117

Recovered  : 30

Death           : 00

Update at 6:20 am, 12th June, 2020.’

With this the State has a total of 147 COVID-19 positive cases.

The number of active cases is 117.

Thirty persons have completely recovered from COVID-19 in the State.

No death has been witnessed in the State so far.
