The security forces, along with police, in a joint operation have nabbed an NSCN (U) cadre near Padumpukhuri in Dimapur, a defence release said on Thursday.
Based on specific input, the security forces from Spear Corps with police launched an operation on Tuesday and apprehended the cadre from the area.
One .32mm pistol, 10 rounds of .32mm live ammunition and 75 bottles of Codeine cough syrup were recovered from him, the release said.
The apprehended cadre, along with the recovered items, were handed over to East police station, Dimapur.
