He highlighted the Framework Agreement signed with the NSCN-IM in 2015 and the Agreed Position with the Working Committee of Naga National Political Groups in 2017, noting that progress has stalled since these agreements.

In addition to the Naga political issue, Jamir plans to advocate for the statehood demand from the Eastern Nagaland People’s Organisation (ENPO), which has been seeking the creation of a Frontier Nagaland Territory since 2010.

He also intends to urge the central government to exempt Nagaland from the Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA), citing ongoing ceasefire agreements between the Centre and various Naga groups as a basis for this request.

Addressing another critical issue, Jamir reiterated his commitment to tackling unemployment among educated youths in Nagaland, aiming to bring more opportunities and development to the state.
