Nagaland Governor RN Ravi has cautioned the students not to indulge in social media and instead inculcate reading habits and read books authored by reputed writers.

He also underscored the importance of day-to-day time management and stringent discipline in the personal life of students.

Ravi held an interactive programme with the toppers and rank holders of HSLC and HSSLC 2020 at the Raj Bhavan in Kohima on Friday.

Ravi also asked them to dream big, have unwavering self-confidence backed by determined hard work and take care of their physical, intellectual and spiritual health.

Ravi also advised the Nagaland Board of School Education chairperson Asano Sekhose to create a digital platform for all the toppers and rank holders to ascertain their progress in life and career and also help them remain connected with each other.

He also appealed to the students to strictly follow Covid-19 appropriate behavior in view of the alarming second wave of infections across India.
