The Governor of Nagaland, PB Acharya has congratulated Alobo Naga on winning three awards in the Artist Aloud Music Awards (AAMA) 2018 in Mumbai on April 4.
The Governor, in a message, said that the Awards appropriately recognize Alobo’s talent and dedication for his passion towards music. “We appreciate your unwavering commitment to outstanding personal performances” Governor Acharya stated.
The Governor also encouraged Alobo to continue contributing to the society positively in the years to come.
The Mistry Gaana singer dedicated his awards to every artist in the Northeast who are striving hard to make it in the music industry. Receiving the award, Alobo declared, “I dedicate this award to every artist back home, and want to tell each one of them that I stand here on behalf of all of you, receiving it in your name”.
The MTV awardee who has taken all his talent to a small town of Dimapur, leaving behind the celebrity life in the cities told a spokesperson that “I left the cities behind and started a small music academy because I am happy to be home and do anything related to music. As for me it means to mould a person to make more music and that makes me the happiest person, as music heals”.
Kailash Kher, Shankar Mahadevan, Hard Kaur, Euphoria, Jassi and many more also won awards.
