The Nagaland government has invited expression of interest from school teachers, serving in private and government, to be engaged as online tutors.

A notification, issued by Shanavas C., the principal director of school education, Nagaland said: “Expression of interest are hereby invited from teachers serving in govt. and private schools with a minimum teaching experience of 5 (five) years”.

According to the notification, the candidates should have “good command over the subject for Tele Radio Tutoring of the following subjects for classes I to IV, XI and XII during the lockdown period.”

Classes 1 to IV: English, Hindi, Nagaland Heritage Studies, Mathematics, Science and S/Sc.

Classes XI & XII: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, Business Studies, Entrepreneurship, Accountancy, Financial Market Management and Fundamentals of Business Mathematics.

The duration of the classes will be 20 minutes.

The teacher will be provided Rs. 1000 per class as remuneration.

Teachers from districts other than Kohima may also apply, the notification said.

However, they need to make their own travel, boarding and lodging arrangements on their own.

Interested teachers may send their details in the following format as MS Word attachment through email to [email protected] before 1 pm of June 14, 2021, the notification said.
