Nagaland’s first smart water project ‘Water ATM’ was inaugurated by State Higher & Technical Education Minister, Temjen Imna Along at Kohima College on Saturday evening.
Speaking on the occasion, Along heaped praises on ZSEE Smart Solution India Pvt Ltd for installing the Water ATM.

He exuded confidence that the ATM would not only serve students of the college but also nearby residents to use water at a nominal price.
He also said any smart initiative taken for the people was a bonus for all.
ZSEE Smart Solution India Pvt Ltd general manager, Inato Shohe, who was present on the occasion acknowledged the minister’s initiative to introduce smart water project in the State.

He said the ATM was fully automated with minimal or no-human intervention in water treatment process.
He explained that the system had both an inbuilt card and coin-based water vending system, adding that there were three separate stainless steel dispenser units too.
Shohe said ZSEE Smart Solution India Pvt Ltd would provide complete warranty in operation and maintenance of the ATM up to 10 years with no cost to be borne by the college authority.
He said 0.3 litre of water would be dispensed for rupee one, one litre for Rs 2, five litre for Rs 5, 10 litre for Rs 7 and 20 litre for Rs 10.
The programme was chaired by Kohima College principal Dr Watijungshi and attended by faculty members and students, besides village council members.
