A 75-kilometre peace march began from Nagaland’s commercial hub – Dimapur on Monday morning.
The march will culminate at Kohima – the capital city of Nagaland on Tuesday.

The two-day ‘walkathon’ has been called to demand repeal of the AFSPA and justice for the 14 innocent Nagaland civilians who were killed by security forces on December 4 last year.
At least 14 innocent Nagaland civilians were gunned down by commandos of the 21 para special forces on December 4 at Oting village in the state’s Mon district in a botched counter-insurgency operation.
The “march against AFSPA” began at 6:30 in the morning of Monday at Supermarket area of Dimapur.
