In order to help the people during the 21-day lockdown period, the district administration of Dimapur has launched a number of helpline numbers.

The people of the district will be able to use the helpline numbers in different moments of emergency.

Sharing the helpline numbers on its Twitter handle, ‘WeTheNagas’ said: “#COVID19: In case of any inconvenience, public may contact the following Helpline Numbers provided by the Dimapur District Administration.”

If anyone wants help regarding essential commodities, he or she can contact the helpline number 8794442024.

On the requirement of an ambulance for carrying any patient to the hospital, one can contact the helpline number 8787551751.

The 21-day lockdown was announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi from March 24 midnight as a preventive measure to contain the spread of COVID19.

However, even before the announcement of the 21-day lockdown, the Nagaland government had announced lockdown in the state as a measure to save the lives of the state’s people from the deadly virus.

The helpline number, which has been launched by the Dimapur district administration to lodge any complaint about price hike issues, is 8974796425.

It has been reported that a section of unscrupulous traders has hiked prices of some essential commodities taking advantage of the crisis arising due to the lockdown.
