Nagaland Cricket Team captain, Jonathan Rongsen Longkumer left for the UK on Sunday to join Morecambe Cricket Club at Lancashire for the 2021 season.
Longkumer on March 29 last had signed to play for UK-based cricket club Morecambe CC for the 2021 season.

Established in 1889, Morecambe Cricket Club is one of the oldest English cricket club based in the tourist resort of Morecambe, Lancashire in the UK.
34-year old Jonathan Rongsen, a resident of Akhoya village in Mokokchung district of Nagaland is an all-round; right-hand batsman and medium pacer.
Nagaland chief minister Neiphiu Rio took to Twitter to express his best wishes to the cricketer ahead of his journey.

Born on October 4, 1986, Jonathan Rongsen Longkumer made his first-class debut for Railways in the 2013–14 Ranji Trophy on December 6, 2013.
Ahead of the 2018–19 Ranji Trophy, he transferred from Railways to Nagaland cricket team.
He scored a century in the 2019–20 Vijay Hazare Trophy match between Nagaland and Manipur.
