Nagaland has registered 14 new COVID19 positive cases, taking the state’s overall tally to 4,017.
Confirming the news, Nagaland health minister S Pangnyu Phom in his latest tweet on the state’s COVID19 status said the new cases have been detected out of 7,68 samples tested for the virus.

“Update! State reports 14 +ve cases of COVID-19 out of 768 samples received,” health minister Phom tweeted.
The health minister informed that of the infected patients, 7 have been detected in Dimapur, 5 have been detected in Kohima while 1 each case has been reported from Mokokchung and Tuensang districts.
“Contact tracing has been activated by our IDSP Team & all primary contacts are kept under self-isolation,” the health minister said.

On Tuesday, Nagaland reported 53 new positive cases out of 674 tests.
According to the data shared by the COVID-19 war room, Nagaland, the state has registered a total of 4,017 positive cases so far.
The state currently has 807 active COVID19 cases.
A total of 3,191 patients have recovered from the disease in the state so far while 10 patients have migrated from the state.
The deadly disease has so far claimed 8 positive patients in Nagaland.
