Nagaland has registered 94 new COVID19 cases on Saturday, taking the state’s total tally to 7,698 while the death toll stands at 21.
Confirming the detection of the new cases, Nagaland health minister S Pangnyu Phom in his latest tweet on COVID19 on Saturday said: “Update! 94 +ve cases of #COVID-19 detected today.”
The health minister informed that of the new cases, 55 cases have been reported from Dimapur, 23 from Kohima, 9 from Mon, 3 from Zunheboto and 2 cases each have been reported from Mokokchung and Peren districts.
Meanwhile, 30 more patients have recovered from the disease.
“Also, 30 +ve patients have recovered,” health minister Phom said.
Of these patients, 22 recovered from Dimapur while 8 other patients recovered from Kohima.
“Wear Mask, Keep Distance, Stay Safe,” Phom tweeted.
According to the latest bulletin on COVID19 released by the Nagaland health department, the state’s total positive tally increased to 7,698 on Saturday.
Nagaland currently has 1,529 active COVID19 cases.
So far a total of 6,076 people have recovered from the disease.
While 21 positive patients have died of infection, a total of 65 positive patients have migrated from the state.
