Nagaland has registered 94 new COVID19 positive cases on Saturday, taking the state’s overall tally to 5,862.
Confirming the news, Nagaland health minister S Pangnyu Phom in his latest tweet on the state’s COVID19 tally said the new cases have been detected out of 574 test results.
“Update! Out of 574 results received 94 +ve cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed,” health minister Phom tweeted.
Phom informed that of the new cases, 51 cases have been detected in Kohima, 39 in Dimapur, 2 in Mokokchung and 1 each case has been detected in Mon and Phek districts.
Meanwhile, 89 more patients have recovered from the disease in Nagaland in the last 24 hours.
“Also, State reports 89 recoveries of COVID-19 patients,” Phom said.
Of the recovered patients, 65 are from Dimapur and 24 are from Kohima.
The health department informed that with the recovery of 65 patients, the total number of recoveries in Nagaland is 4,726.
Nagaland currently has 1,088 active COVID19 patients while 32 positive cases have migrated from the state.
The disease has so far claimed the lives of a total of 11 people in Nagaland.
