Nagaland recorded three more Covid19 deaths and 237 new positive cases on Sunday.
With this, Nagaland’s total death toll due to Covid19 infection rose to 130 while the total active cases in the state increased to 2,809.

State health and family welfare minister S Pangnyu Phom in his Twitter handle on Sunday said among the new positive cases, 128 were detected in Kohima, 89 in Dimapur, five in Mon, four in Tuensang, three each in Phek, Mokokchung and Longleng and two in Peren.
He said 128 Covid19 positive patients – 86 in Kohima, 37 in Dimapur, four in Mon and one in Mokokchung – recovered on Sunday.
As of Sunday, the total Covid19 caseload in Nagaland stood at 16,150 and a total of 12,687 people have recovered from the infection.

On Sunday, India reported 4,03,738 new Covid19 cases.
This was the 5th straight day of 4-lakh plus daily infections in India.
Covid19 deaths continued to surge with 4,092 fatalities reported on Sunday.
