Nagaland has registered 123 new COVID19 positive cases on Sunday, taking the state’s overall tally to 6,552.\
The news has been confirmed by Nagaland health minister S Pangnyu Phom.

Phom in his latest tweet on the state’s COVID19 tally on Sunday said: “State COVID-19 Update! 123 +ve cases of #COVID-19 detected today.”
The health minister informed that of the new cases, 74 cases have been reported from Dimapur district, 48 cases have been reported from Kohima district and 1 case has been reported from Longleng district.
The health minister also informed that 51 more patients have been discharged in the state.

“And 51 patients have been discharged,” Phom said in his tweet.
Phom informed that 2hile 40 patients have been discharged from Dimapur district, 5 patients have been discharged from Tuensang, 3 from Kohima, 2 from Mokokchung while 1 patient has been discharged from Mon district after they tested negative for the virus.
The health minister has requested all the people of the state to wear masks, keep social distancing to stay safe.
