Nagaland logged two more Covid deaths and 130 new positive cases on Friday. A total of 127 positive people also recovered during the day.
The Health and Family Welfare Department said the total death toll in the State due to the infection reached 467 while 22072 people recovered. It said there were 14 non-Covid deaths but with Covid symptoms.

The active cases in the State stand at 1508 and the total caseload at 24,759. Altogether 698 people migrated from the State.
Among the new cases, Dimapur recorded 31, Kiphire 1, Kohima 11, Longleng 1, Mokokchung 13, Mon 37, Peren 20, Phek 2, Wokha 6 and Zunheboto 8,.
Of the 127 recoveries, Dimapur reported 31, Kohima 4, Longleng 4, Mokokchung 78, Mon 7, Phek 1 and Zunheboto 2.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio today expressed gratitude to Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan for approving a 50-bed district hospital in Noklak district.
“I express my gratitude to @drharshvardhan, Honourable Minister for @MoHFW_INDIA for approving a 50-bedded district hospital at Noklak; the newest district of Nagaland. This will greatly help the citizens of the district access quality healthcare services,” Rio tweeted.
In another development, Sapotimi village under Suruhuto block in Zunheboto district achieved 100 percent Covid-19 vaccination.
“Congratulations #Sapotimi Village under #Suruhuto Block, #Zunheboto District for achieving 100% Vaccination. Great team work of Village Council Chairman, GB’S, Village Elders and Medical team for relentless efforts,” the Health and Family Welfare Department tweeted.
