Nagaland registered three fresh cases of COVID-19 positive cases on Thursday.
These are among the 291 samples tested on Wednesday.
All the new cases are from Phek district.
This was informed by state health minister S Pangnyu Phom through his official Twitter handle on Thursday morning.

Out of 291 samples tested, 3 fresh positive cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed. All cases are in Phek.
Total State status as of 9: 00 AM, 9th July, 2020.
Positive : 660
Active : 356
Recovered : 304’
With the three new patients, the total number of COVID-19 cases in the State has gone up to 660.
However, there are 356 active cases in the State at present.
A total of 304 persons have already recovered from the disease.
The State has not witnessed any COVID-19 related deaths so far.
Meanwhile, Kohima deputy commissioner Gregory Thejawelie on Thursday declared certain areas under Kohima town as containment zones following detection of a COVID-19 positive person residing at Daklane colony and Kezieke colony to contain the spread of the virus and for necessary contact tracing.
In an order, Thejawelie said all movement of persons and vehicles within the defined containment zones/areas have been strictly restricted/prohibited and under active surveillance.
The declared containment zones are New Market Main Road, below Pentecostal Church, footstep near Sector-C GB’s residence, footstep near community well, footstep near UCRC Church, footstep near Viswema Brothers building, footstep, near M. Electronics, New Market Road till Nullah near UCRC Church, Old Tata Parking till footstep between KFC and Vonuo Tyre Workshop (main NH), footstep near Keziekie Naga Bazaar boundary till Nagaland Timber Agency (saw mill), Old Tata Parking footstep near Masjid till Naga Bazaar Road, footstep between KFC and Vonuo Tyre Workshop till Nagaland Timber Agency (saw mill).
On the other hand, the leaders of Kezieke colony on Thursday imposed lightening closure of all shops and commercial activities and restricted movement of people within the colony as containment measure and contact tracing.
The detected positive person if said to be an employee of Kohima Municipal Council.
Meanwhile, Dimapur deputy commissioner Anoop Kinchi on Thursday warned the vegetable and fruit wholesale traders at Murgipatti that there would be no option but to close down the market again if the people do not follow the COVID-19 guidelines.
Kinchi visited the market to oversee whether the guidelines to contain the virus are practiced.
He directed the whole sellers to ensure that all their labourers and customers wear masks covering the nose and mouth, maintain social distance and practice hand hygiene.
He further asked them to keep soap and water for washing hands.
He also directed them for keeping more barricades to ensure social distancing.
He also advised the Dimapur Municipal Council to keep on announcing and reminding every morning the business community of Murgipatti about the safety protocols to be maintained by each individual through megaphone.
Kinchi said he would make surprise checking any day and cautioned that the market would be closed down if precautions are not taken.
