Nagaland COVID-19 tally goes up to 412 with 25 new cases

Nagaland on Sunday registered 25 new COVID-19 positive cases.

With these new cases, the total number of COVID-19 patients in the State went up to 412.

These new cases are from the 609 samples tested on Saturday.

Among them, 20 patients are from Dimapur quarantine centre, three from Kohima quarantine centre and two from Peren quarantine centre.

This was informed by state health minister S Pangnyu Phom through his official Twitter handle on Sunday.

Phom wrote:

‘25 new cases of COVID-19 +ve have been reported out of 609 samples tested.

20 patients from Dimapur QC, 3 from Kohima QC & 2 from Peren QC.

Positive         : 412

Active            : 248

Recovered    : 164

Death             : 00

Update at 9:40 AM, 28th June, 2020.’

However, at present the State has 248 active cases.

A total of 164 persons have already recovered from the disease.

The State has not witnessed any COVID-19 related deaths so far.
