Dimapur: A coordination meeting between contesting candidates, election agents, and district nodal officers for Nagalandโ€™s upcoming Koridang assembly constituency by-election was held at the Mokokchung DCโ€™s conference hall on Friday.

During the meeting, held in accordance with the provisions of the Conduct of Election Rules, 1961, Returning Officer Nockpai Konyak and Nodal Officer of the Expenditure Monitoring Cell, Kewimesin Nriame, briefed participants on the model code of conduct.

They also explained the electioneering procedures laid down by the Election Commission of India, which must be strictly adhered to by all candidates.

Officials from the Election Commission of India, including General Observer Neeraj Shukla, Expenditure Observer D Sreedhar Reddy, and Police Observer Sandeep Karra, also attended the meeting.
