Dimapur: Nagaland was among four states felicitated by the Union Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) for its performance in DigiLocker integration during a national consultative workshop held in New Delhi on Monday.

Gujarat, Rajasthan and Karnataka were the other states recognised at the event titled โ€œStrengthening Cybersecurity Framework for State Dataโ€.

The recognition was given for the statesโ€™ performance in integrating services with DigiLocker under the Centreโ€™s digital governance initiatives.

Sabou Yashu, Director, Information Technology and Communication, Nagaland, received the award on behalf of the stateโ€™s IT department. Meghna Priya represented the Nagaland State e-Mission Team under the National e-Governance Division.

Officials said the recognition highlights Nagalandโ€™s efforts in strengthening digital service delivery and expanding integration with national e-governance platforms.
