The ad hoc teachers of 2015 batch in Nagaland have decided to launch phase-III agitation from June 11 till further notice by boycotting classes to press for their demand of regularisation of services.

The association of the ad hoc teachers called All Nagaland Ad-hoc Teachers Group 2015 batch, in a press communiqué, on Saturday, said the decision to launch the third phase of agitation was unanimously taken at its executive meeting held on Friday.

The ad-hoc teachers group has informed all its members from across the state to remain mentally prepared for the proposed agitation.

The Sarba Siksha Abhiyan (SSA) teachers of Nagaland have also launched their third phase agitation on Wednesday to press for redressal of their demands, including release of pending salaries.

Nagaland chief secretary Temjen Toy on Friday said the government cannot meet all the demands of SSA teachers as they were SSA flagship programme. He also warned that the state government might be compelled to respond with stern action against the agitating teachers as per the dictates of laws and existing laid down procedures if they continue with their agitation.
