Civil society organisations of Peren district have called for bandh after armed miscreants shot dead three persons at Lamhainamdi village in the district.
According to a report, the incident took place around 5 pm on Monday.
The persons were shot dead while they were working on their plot at Lamhainamdi village.
As per the report, the three persons were found dead by the villagers.
Some of the houses in the village along with a vehicle were also set ablaze by the miscreants.
Another report quoted Nagaland Zeliang People Organisation (NZPO) president Kevipelie as saying that all the business establishments, schools and offices under the Peren district will remain closed during the bandh.
It has been planned that the villagers would gather at Jalukie and take out a rally with the bodies of the deceased before their burial in the village.
Police have already started investing into the case.
