The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has declared the results of HSLC and HSSLC examinations 2018 on Friday.
This year too girls outperformed boys in both the examinations.
Of the 21,715 candidates in Class 10 examination, 14,335 candidates cleared it with a pass percentage of 66.01%. Of the 14,335 candidates who cleared the examination, 7,448 were girls and 6,887 boys. In the top 20 list, there were 37 candidates out of which 25 were girls and 12 boys.
A total of 63 schools secured 100% pass percentage. Of these, 54 were private schools while seven were government schools.
In HSSLC examination, the pass percentage of girls was 79.87 and boys 70.44. Stream-wise, the overall pass percentage was 73.42 (Arts), 84.39 (Science) and 73.75 (Commerce).
The pass percentage of girls in Arts stream was 77.68 and boys 68.43, in Commerce stream the pass percentage of girls 85.18, boys 67.39 and in Science stream it was 88.28 for girls and 80.56 for boys.
