Nagaland governor RN Ravi on Friday reportedly discussed with Union home minister Amit Shah on the final agreement with Naga rebel outfit NSCN (IM).
Ravi called on home minister Shah at North Block.
Sources in the government told Northeast Now that Ravi has briefed Shah about the present law and order situation of the state.
Both Ravi and Shah have discussed on the final agreement over Naga peace talks, sources in the home ministry said.
It is believed that the final agreement between government of India and NSCN (IM) is likely to be signed before Christmas.
Ravi a former bureaucrat was the peace-talk interlocutor between government of India and NSCN (IM).
The Indo-Naga peace talk was going on for more than two decades.
