Dimapur: The Nagaland Home Department on Sunday (January 25) announced that four state police personnel have been selected for national honors on the occasion of Republic Day 2026.
The awards include the President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service (PSM) and the Police Medal for Meritorious Service (MSM).
Ben Longkumer, Commandant, Nagaland, will be conferred with the prestigious PSM.
Meanwhile, the MSM will be awarded to three others: Assistant Commandant Lanuchuba Longchar, Inspector (ARMR) Mepu Konyak, and Havildar I. Akaho Sumi.
