Former Nagaland BJP president Visasolie Lhoungu is no more.
Visasolie Lhoungu passed away on Tuesday at the at Naga Hospital Authority Kohima.
At the time of his demise, Lhoungu was serving as the chairman of the Nagaland Bamboo Development Agency.
Top BJP leaders of the country including Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed condolences on the sudden demise of Lhoungu.

PM Modi tweeted: “Shri Visasolie Lhoungu was a hardworking and dedicated person who was passionate about the progress of Nagaland and empowerment of the Naga people. He made noteworthy efforts to strengthen the BJP in the state. Pained by his demise. Condolences to his family and supporters. RIP.”

Nagaland chief minister Neiphiu Rio tweeted: “Deepest condolences to the bereaved family members of Shri Visasolie Lhoungu, Chairman of Nagaland Bamboo Development Agency and former President of @BJP4Nagaland. May Almighty God give comfort and strength to bear the irreparable loss.”
