The first passenger flight from Kolkata to Dimapur since relaxation of lockdown measures landed at Dimapur airport on Monday.
The Air India flight, AI 0709, carried 109 passengers, including two Assam-bound passengers.
The passengers were received at the airport by agriculture production commissioner Kikheto Sema, who is also in-charge of Dimapur for Covid-19 activities.
Food and civil supplies department secretary Honje Konyak, Dimapur commissioner of police Rothihu Tetso and chief medical officer Dr Tiasunep Pongener were also present.
After going through necessary procedures, 36 Kohima-bound passengers were sent to Kohima by bus while remaining passengers were taken to Agri Expo site here.
