The Nagaland government on Sunday received a consignment of rapid diagnostic test kit for COVID-19 test.
This was informed by state Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio in a tweet.
The kit has been issued by the Centre through the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).
It reached Nagaland via a Dornier flight of the Indian Air Force.
“The much-awaited critical consignment of rapid diagnostic test kit for COVID19 issued by the Government of India, for Nagaland, through ICMR, Delhi has arrived by special Dornier flight of the IAF,” Rio tweeted.

“The kits will be used in hot spots identified in the state,” he added.
Nagaland health minister S Pangnyu Phom also took to Twitter to share the news.
