Popular American Christian metal band Whitecross is all set to rock the stage at a concert in Nagaland on April 12. The band will give its first performance in India at the Agri Expo in Dimapur.

The concert is powered by Nagaland Bamboo Timber Unit and managed by Sky Entertainment, according to reports.

For the concert, the ticket prices are Rs 300 for a single person and Rs 500 for two persons.

VIP tickets are also available on pre-booking at Rs. 10,000 (admit two) with “exciting perks” like two VIP all access badges, car pass, band merchandise, meet and greet/photograph, dinner and autograph list.

Moreover, the band will also conduct a one-day workshop that has been organized in association with the Nagaland government’s Music Task Force on April 11 at the Father’s House Church, 7th Mile, Chümoukedima. The registration fee for the workshop is Rs 200.

The workshop will cover topics such as music business and marketing, song writing and church music among others.

The four-member band includes Scott Wenzel, Rex Carroll, Michael Feighan, Benny Ramos. The band was founded in the year 1985 and is based in Illinois, USA.

The band won three Dove Awards in the year 1990. Dove Award is an accolade by the Gospel Music Association of the United States to recognize outstanding achievement in the Christian music industry.

Its latest album is Nineteen Eighty Seven that was released in 2005. Some of the other notable albums of the band include- Triumphant Return, In The Kingdom, Hammer & Nail.
