Aam Aadmi Party set to contest the Nagaland assembly elections 2018

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is gearing up to contest in the Nagaland assembly elections scheduled for next year.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Nagaland led by its state convener Dr S Amos Longkumar had a meeting with AAP national political action committee (PAC) members Ashutosh and Sanjay Singh regarding the 2018 assembly elections in the state of Nagaland.

The team also considered the feasibility of contesting all 60 seats in the state with the central leaders assisted by North East observer Habung Payeng.

According to a press release from Aam Aadmi Party Media and Publicity Cell, the political action committee (PAC) members have agreed to come to Nagaland in a few weeks time and declare Aam Aadmi Party’s participation in the Nagaland elections.

“The meeting was by far positive with both sides coming to a logical conclusion,” the release stated. Meanwhile aspiring candidates have been asked to contact the party convenor Dr S Amos Longkumar to avoid inconvenience in the future.
