A total of 3 more people died of Covid19 while nine others were infected with the virus in Nagaland on Wednesday. There were 12 recoveries in the last 24 hours.
The health and family welfare department said 6 people were infected by the virus in Dimapur, two in Mokokchung and one in Kohima.

Of the recoveries, seven were from Dimapur and five from Kohima.
The total caseload in the state stands at 31,960 and the active cases at 172.
So far, 676 people died of the infection while 30,047 have recovered from it.

Altogether 1049 people migrated from the state.

Meanwhile, a total of 109.63 crore vaccine doses have been administered so far across India under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive.
A total of 11,466 new Covid19 cases have been recorded in the last 24 hours.
On Wednesday, India’s recovery rate currently stood at 98.25%, the highest since March 2020.

The country recorded 11,961 recoveries in the last 24 hours and the count increased to 3,37,87,047.
Active Covid19 cases account for less than 1% of total cases, currently at 0.41%, the lowest since March 2020.
India’s active caseload stands at 1,39,683, the lowest in 264 days.
The daily positivity rate (0.90%) recorded has been less than 2% for the last 37 days.
The weekly positivity rate (1.20%) has remained less than 2% for the last 47 days.
