Dimapur: Two persons, including a woman, from Assam, were arrested by Dimapur police with contraband ‘Shan Flower’, also called ‘Sunflower’, at Dimapur railway station platform on May 29, Dimapur commissioner of police Kevithuto Sophie said in a release on Friday.
One of them, Abdul Suhid of Bowalgiri village under Morigaon district of Assam, was apprehended from the railway platform area with 56 grams of ‘Shan Flower’ which were hidden in five plastic soap cases.

The woman, Mazada Begum (52), wife of Jakir Hussain of Kunusa village under Jagiroad police station under Morigaon district of Assam, was apprehended at the railway platform.
‘Shan Flower’ weighing 21 grams which was hidden in two soap boxes was recovered from her.
Separate cases have been registered against the two in this connection.
