Nagaland students participate in largest robotic KIT making training

Nagaland students participated in large numbers along with students from other schools in an attempt to create a world record for ‘Largest Robotic KIT making training.’

The ‘Largest Robotic KIT making training ‘ event  was organized by All India Council for Robotics and Automation (AICRA) in eleven places across the country.

AICRA had organized the event with an aim to create three world records in the Guinness World Record (GWR), the World Record India (WRI) and the Limca Book of Records.

As per reports, 900 students from Dimapur and Kohima participated in the event that was organized on August 31 in various places across the country.

The event saw the participation of 500 students from Dimapur and 400 students from Kohima.

The robotic making training event was organized at two schools- Holy Cross Secondary School and St. Mary’s School – in Dimapur.

The event was held at St Mary’s Cathedral Higher Secondary School in Kohima.

The training included putting together different parts of a robot and programming them to make them perform necessary functions.

The students were trained by Technoxian team. Technoxian is a creative body which organizes various technical events and programmes across the country to make people learn about robotics and automation.
