The meeting observed that formation of Naga Club was epoch-making for the Nagas in realization of their identity and raise social and political consciousness, thereby starting the journey of collectively responding to changes of time and envisioning a shared future.

NSF felt that the Naga people should celebrate this glorious legacy and take time to retrospect and introspect and thus find inspiration to continue their journey with renewed vigour, the statement affirmed.

The house also clarified that by celebrating 100 years of Naga Club, NSF by no means laid claim of ownership over the institution, but only wanted to celebrate the legacy with the theme โ€˜Celebrating the Legacyโ€™, the release also stated.
