One youth was killed due to electrocution and two others injured today when they were sticking posters of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the eve of his visit to Silchar tomorrow.
The deceased was identified as Montosh Das. The injured were rushed to the hospital.
The deceased who sells vegetables for his livelihood, was helping in sticking the posters of PM Modi when he came into contact with a live high-voltage electrical wire at Chittaranjan Avenue in Silchar town.
