The 65th National School Games Boxing U-17 began on Tuesday in Mizoram capital Aizawl.
The four-day event is being held at R Dengthuama Multipurpose Hall at Mualpui in Aizawl.

State minister for school education Lalchhandama Ralte graced the opening ceremony as chief guest,
L Thangmawia, vice-chairman, Human Resources Development Board was also present at the inauguration.
Speaking at the occasion, Lalchhandama Ralte welcomed participants from all over India and urged them to give their best.

He also asked the players to compete in the spirit of sportsmanship and fair play.
A total of 486 participants from 36 states and units all over the country including 413 boxers and 73 officials are participating in the event which concludes on Friday.
