Mizoram reported 845 new positive cases in the last 24 hours, taking the total to 53,317 on Tuesday.
The state reported no more death in the last 24 hours.

According to the latest Covid19 bulletin, released by the department of information and public relations, Mizoram, on Tuesday morning, of the new cases, 17 cases were found positive for the virus during TrueNAT tests, 718 were detected positive during Rapid Antigen Test.
A total of 110 cases were detected positive for Covid19 during RT-PCR test at Zoram Medical College (ZMC) on Tuesday.
Mizoram’s positivity rate stood at 8.36% on Tuesday.

Of the total cases, 27,486 are male and 25,831 are female.
So far, the deadly disease has claimed the lives of a total of 200 patients in Mizoram.
Meanwhile, a total of 385 patients, who were earlier infected by Covid19, recovered from the disease as per the health bulletin released by the DIPR at 5 pm on Monday.
Of the recoveries, Aizawl district recorded 313 cases, Kolasib-27, Hnahthial-16, Siaha-15, Serchhip-9, Saitual-2, Lunglei-1 and Champhai district recorded 1 recovery.
So far, a total of 46,789 patients have recovered from the disease in Mizoram.
Of the active cases, in Mizoram, Aizawl district has 3,723 cases, Lunglei – 337, Siaha – 230, Champhai – 179, Kolasib – 876, Serchhip – 95, Lawngtlai – 420, Mamit – 378, Khawzawl – 4, Hnahthial – 71 and Saitual has 15 active cases.
On Monday, Mizoram reported 4 Covid19 deaths and 292 positive cases.
Mizoram’s positive tally stood at 52,472 on Monday.
The state’s positivity rate on Monday stood at 13.95%.
On Sunday, Mizoram recorded 2 deaths due to Covid19 infection and 576 positive cases.
On Sunday, Mizoram’s positivity rate stood at 5.97%.
