Mizoram reported four more Covid19 deaths and 292 new positive cases in the last 24 hours.
With the new cases, Mizoram’s positive tally increased to 52,472 on Monday.

According to the latest Covid19 bulletin, released by the department of information and public relations, Mizoram, on Monday morning, of the new cases, 12 cases were found positive for the virus during TrueNAT tests, 280 were detected positive during Rapid Antigen Test.
There was no test of any sample for RT-PCR test at Zoram Medical College (ZMC) on Sunday as it was a holiday.
Mizoram’s positivity rate stood at 13.95% on Monday.

Of the total cases, 27,110 are male and 25,362 are female.
The deadly disease has claimed the lives of a total of 200 patients in Mizoram so far.
Meanwhile, a total of 749 patients, who were earlier infected by Covid19, recovered from the disease as per the health bulletin released by the DIPR at 5 pm on Saturday.
Of the recoveries, Aizawl district recorded 417 cases, Lawngtlai-157, Kolasib-65, Mamit-63, Lunglei-28, Serchhip-8 Hnahthial-5, Champhai-3 and Saitual district 3.
So far, a total of 46,290 patients have recovered from the disease in Mizoram.
Mizoram currently has 5,982 active Covid19 cases.
Of the active cases, in Mizoram, Aizawl district has 3,620 cases, Lunglei – 268, Siaha – 212, Champhai – 160, Kolasib – 803, Serchhip – 99, Lawngtlai – 374, Mamit – 343, Khawzawl – 4, Hnahthial – 84 and Saitual has 15 active cases.
On Sunday, Mizoram reported 2 deaths due to Covid19 infection and 576 positive cases.
Mizoram’s positivity rate stood at 5.97% on Sunday.
The state’s recovery rate on Sunday was 88.48%.
