Mizoram has reported 141 new COVID19 cases, taking the state’s tally to 1,333.
The news has been confirmed by the Mizoram information & public relations department on its Twitter handle.
The total positive patients registered in Mizoram so far include 1,108 males and 225 females.
So far a total of 750 patients have recovered from the disease in the state.
Mizoram currently has 583 active patients while 2 positive cases migrated from the state.
The state is yet to report any COVID19 death.

Mizoram on Wednesday reported the highest single-day spike of COVID19 cases with 69 people, including 48 Border Security Force (BSF) jawans being infected by the deadly virus, an official said.
The new cases detected on Wednesday included 62 males and 7 females, who were reported from Aizawl district, the official said. The official said 6 Indian Army personnel were among the newly-infected people.
Apart from 54 security personnel detected on Wednesday, the remaining 15 were civilians.
According to the health department, 46,414 samples were tested till Wednesday and about 2.57% of them tested positive for COVID19.
