Aizawl: Mizoram’s Health and Social Welfare Minister, Lalrinpuii, was conferred the prestigious Women Icon Award 2026 in recognition of her leadership and contributions to transforming the state’s healthcare landscape.
The award was presented during the National Summit, organised jointly by Achievers’ World and the Indian Achiever Forum in New Delhi.
Speaking at the summit, themed “Viksit Bharat 2047 through Comprehensive Socio-Economic Development,” Lalrinpuii said the honour was not merely the result of individual effort, but a testament to the dedicated collaboration with efficient department officials working for the betterment of the state and the nation.
Highlighting that Mizoram receives among the lowest Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds in the country, she urged corporate leaders in attendance to partner with the state, particularly in the health and nutrition sectors, which remain key priorities of the Centre.
Alongside Lalrinpuii, awards were also presented to several successful and exemplary individuals from different fields.
